CBBS 2025 OVERVIEW

Theme Story

To build is an extraordinary act of bravery. It is a gesture of creativity and courage, of belonging and solidarity in service to humanity.
“Roots to Rise” echoes a rallying cry for the re-membering of our people, and the old wisdom that has nurtured and inspirited our beginnings. It is a summons to unite our hearts and hands, cultivate awareness, and render our voices and vocations, participate with our passions, purposes, and resources, to co-create for the empowerment and liberation of our community. It calls upon all descendants of the eccentric tribes of visionaries, changemakers, founders, leaders, executives and entrepreneurs, seekers and scholars, artists and activists, to return to the culture of exchange, where collaboration transcends competition, and generosity tenders the blueprint for success.

Roots to Rise is an invitation and investment into relatedness. It offers practical tools to reclaim, re-vision, re-story, and restore a world of our own – to break new grounds, and lay foundations for the ongoing work of growth, expansion, and transformation.
